Lock Failure with CURT Hitch

Based on our own experience, this lock failed to secure our trailer hitch during transport. While the design seemed sturdy the lock failed to hold up under pressure and resulted in damage to our vehicle and trailer. One positive is that customer service was helpful in offering a replacement, but overall we cannot recommend this hitch lock for towing purposes..

Pros
  • Helpful customer service
Cons
  • Failed to secure trailer hitch and caused damage.

Unsafe, almost worn out after 1000 miles

This pin is almost worn out after 1000 miles. I'm very glad I caught him. It should be made of very soft, untempered metal. Do not buy.

  • Useless features
