Strong steel, heavy!

Solid square bar welded to heavy gauge powder coated steel. It's damn easy. Has a 1/2" hole for the hitch pin and a 3/4" hole for the hitch ball. Trailer balls come in a variety of sizes with 3/4" threaded shank. When you need to fight zombies, with or without the trailer ball attached, it's very effective.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for strength and durability
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Ideal for small LOW vehicles.

I was going to tow a teardrop camper on my Mazda Miata but all the hitches in the rear/vertical position held the ball too low for the trailer to tow a level. This solved it. On their website, they provide tips on how to accurately measure the drop/rise needed to buy. Don't forget to consider the height of the ball. Not too big and strong for a small car. Also works as a bumper protector.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good fit for Fiesta ST

My 2019 Fiesta ST has a CURT hitch mount 11067 that mounts fairly low and recessed (under the bumper). It goes low and raises the ball (for my Harbor Freight trailer). I drilled another pin hole exactly 2 1/4" in the direction of the ball from the standard hole, effectively shortening the ball mount and placing the ball directly behind the bumper (with about 1/4" clearance). This ensures more stable trailer operation.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Ok

Essential for sedans with trailers

Bought for a Class 1 hitch fitted to my wife's 2014 Honda Accord. At first I tried using a regular straight leg, but the bottom of the leg got scratched when exiting the gently sloping driveway on the sidewalk. Since the Accord's trailer hitch is very low, I quickly realized that I needed a lot more ground clearance. At 5 inches tall, this mount fits the bill perfectly. Now I can descend slopes or ride over bumps without worrying about the mountain hitting the pavement.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Works great, long enough, great lift

This works very well for someone who wants to tow a small trailer with a car. I have used it with my Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt. If I had used less, the trailer would have gone low in the front (nose diving). I started with the 3 inch equivalent that I could buy locally but that wasn't enough. This one is perfect for the leaf. also bought one of the Reese Towpower Bullets with 3" threads. This would allow me to get a little more height if needed. Either way, this hitch/drawbar is great. Very…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

BETTER TOW!

, I am towing my small 14 foot boat on a Nissan Altama. I have a hitch on a Nissan frame but the ball was only 5 inches off the road. Didn't even extend, but moved 2 inches from the bumper. I think a hitch would be fine for a very small cargo trailer, but even that would be overwhelming. The Nissan dealer who installed it said it was priced at £2,000. The Altama itself is rated for a peak weight of 1500 lbs. My boat is under 1000 so I figured I'd be smart to go to the Nissan dealer. The Nissan…

  • Everything is fine!
