Maybe I Got a Lemon

This product is easy to install and works great for the first 3 months. Then suddenly my courtesy light started flashing when I turned on the right turn signal and came on when I pressed the brake pedal. I've checked most of the ground wires in the car to see if any of them are blown. Negative. I did tons of research and finally came across this pendant. I unplugged it and plugged the original wiring harness back in and it works fine. So something went wrong in the suspension. I will update the

There are no problems with the connections, but the instructions could be better.

Well worth spending the extra 20 and not messing around with splicing wires on the universal harness. I installed mine on a 2003 Tribute. While I haven't had the plug issues that other reviewers have, I agree with another reviewer that the instructions are vague. I felt like I had to scratch my head a little more than I anticipated installing this T-connector. I'm not sure why Kurt went to so much trouble to make such a great product and then at the same time gave incomprehensible instructions.

Fits Ford Escape after you damage the pins in the connectors

This product says it fits 2004 Ford Escape XLt without the tow pack. I added a hitch that fits just right. I bought this connector because I thought it would work. Not correct! The pins in this connector are flat. Contacts within the vehicle wiring are round. The connector pins are too wide to fit the round factory wiring holes. I was able to use wire cutters to cut each pin enough to make a connection, but the connector pins didn't line up exactly, resulting in the connector not locking. I…
