Easy to install Best in External Accessories

It couldn't be much simpler. I suggest lowering the spare tire to make it easier to route the cables. Good guide. There's even a video in the trailer if you're completely lost. Update: Just a year later the thing had a short circuit and now the rear lights on the driver and passenger side don't work (on the car). They work fine once you remove it from the schema. Will try the Tekonsha version

Follow the instructions, works like a charm

Perfect match for my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6. "Plug and Play" means quick installation and definitely beats the $50 the local store is charging for the part just. I would recommend having a few extra zip ties though. There are also several YouTube videos that walk you through the installation. Took me about 45 minutes but that's mostly because I thought I was smart enough not to need instructions after a quick read.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Some bugs

It only took about 10 minutes

Installation was pretty easy. I was a bit concerned at first when I saw some comments (not on Revain) claiming the suspension was too short. I can only assume these people didn't run the wires in the most direct way. It seemed to me that the length of the wiring is more than enough. My only complaint would be that the included zip ties weren't long enough for where I wanted to use them (I tied the wiring directly to the hitch itself). Luckily I had longer ones so that wasn't a problem. And…
