It features a removable 2-5/16-inch diameter ball to fit a wide variety of gooseneck couplers. DROP-IN BALL. Installing or removing the gooseneck ball from your truck bed couldn't be easier. It has a quarter-turn latch system that instantly secures it into place whenever needed. There are no tools, extra brackets or hardware required. TESTED STRENGTH. For secure towing of heavy-duty trailers, this factory-style gooseneck hitch is tested and rated for 30,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 7,500 lbs. vertical load (limited to lowest-rated towing component). CORROSION-RESISTANT. For dependable weather resistance, this OE gooseneck ball hitch is covered in a durable A-coat finish. This finish protects the hitch body against rainwater, dirt, road salt and other corrosive threats. EASY INSTALLATION. Good leadership. in couplers

This is a good gooseneck coupler. Not very easy to install myself, but I managed it. Ram 2500 2018. I appreciate that I can easily remove the ball so the bed is flat again.

Great hitch for towing products and winches

The hitch works great in my 2015. I'm a professional diesel mechanic so installation was easy but still very easy for anyone with some confidence and a WRENCH!

Does the job but not the best product!

Works well. Not the best design as the exhaust was rubbing against it so the mountings had to be adjusted. However, next time I will definitely spend more to buy black and white!

Missing parts for external accessories

It's ridiculous that I spend over five hundred dollars on something and half the hardware is missing! Now I have to go to Fastenal and spend more money to buy the nuts and washers that should come with this product.

2016 Mega Cab Ram good for exterior accessories

The hitch is very easy to install compared to other brands. The only criticism is that the locking mechanism seems flimsy, but works quickly and does its job well. No need to remove the exhaust pipe, just use the ratchet straps on the frame to pull it in different directions to make room. Good product for the price!

Couldn't be happier. The gooseneck was easy to assemble.

I use this hitch with the Andersen Ultimate fifth wheel. Couldn't be happier. The gooseneck was easy to assemble and strong as a nail. Drilling the frame was also easy since my 2015 Ram 2500 had the frame pre-drilled from the factory. Simply insert the hole saw from below and get started. Good product.

Mounts best in hitches and winches

Installed this unit on a 2016 Ram 2500. Took about 2 hours or so. I did it on my porch and in the dark. The hardest part is getting the torque wrench in to tighten things up. The exhaust was not removed but was loosened and rotated to allow clearance for the tools. Haven't used the hitch but it looks solid and ready to go. I used a lengthwise 2x4 cut to support the hitch to tighten the bolts. Two hands don't work, the clutch is heavy. Remove spare wheel and heat shield for installation.

Good product, easy to install

Will fit a 2017 Ram 2500. Not difficult to do at all. One thing I would do differently is when drilling holes for the breakaway chain U-bolts, I use an 11/16 bit from the bottom first as this will help ensure you are centered. Once you've managed to make a mark, run the pilot jet (1/4 inch) all the way through the bed. Coming from above will help ensure your 11/16 are right where they should be.
