08 xterra works perfect

Received for my 08 xterra. Everything fits perfectly. For a connector behind the front passenger step strip; There is a jack that has something already plugged into it. This is NOT the bushing you want, although it is the correct shape. The desired one is stowed a little lower in the wheel arch and nothing is connected with it. Sounds like common sense, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Zero

2006 Nissan Frontier LX I tried a few others that didn't have secondary fuses that go under the dash and they seemed to work. They provided brake and turn signals but half my lights didn't work. The yellow daytime running lights never come on. This setup was exactly the same except that another line was added below the dash. Now everything works like clockwork.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Best kit I've ever bought for a car upgrade!

There is nothing to complain about. It got to me quickly, clear concise instructions with photos. I'm not kidding, it makes me cringe when I read "direct replacement" because there's always something to grind, polish, or otherwise improvise to make it work as intended. It was new. Everything went great. Everything was as stated on the diagrams and pictures, and all the connectors were perfectly connected. I couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • One-year trial period
Cons
  • There are defects

Works simply and perfectly

This wiring harness is very easy to install. The enclosed instructions refer to the particular vehicle for which it is suitable. The hardest part was removing the protective caps under the truck body. But after that no problem. Just take your time and pull evenly on the trim pieces on the inside to avoid tearing them. The open plug is easy to find (points to it in the picture). There are enough cables from the truck to the trailer. And there's plenty of room to stow a relay behind a wiring…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Make sure you plug it into the correct socket in the passenger footwell.

These are high quality seat belts. With the Xterra 2008, fitting the harness under the car was very easy. The wiring harness that runs behind the passenger footwell trim panel was also fairly easy to route, but when I couldn't find the empty socket mentioned in the instructions, I noticed a socket of the same size but with the connector already plugged in. I turned it off and everything seemed to work, but then I noticed the passenger window stopped working. I went back into the footwell, this…

  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Installation is easy

I am 64 years old. In the past, installing wire harnesses involved finding, tagging, stripping/cutting, and splicing wires to install the wire harness. It was surprisingly easy. I struggled to find the 12 pin connector behind the protective plate. The fork was hidden behind other forks and could not be pulled out of the truck wall. However, everything turned out to be very simple. The instructions accompanying this package show the different steps of the process. However, for a beginner like…
