They had two jobs for the workshop and the shop

Each oil pan really only has to do two things: catch the oil draining out of the machine with the oil and pour that oil into another container for disposal. This particular panorama succeeds on the first task (like any large concave object) but fails on the second. The little stub spout spilled all over the place trying to pour the used oil out of the pan and would have ruined the garage floor if I hadn't put some cardboard in it. My advice: skip this palette and go for a discounted toolโ€ฆ

For small engines, NOT cars.

Admittedly I agree with a lot of the other reviews here. Oil pans are no longer just buckets. They have splash guards and handy recycling spouts. At first glance it is striking that this oil pan has none of these properties. This is a simple plastic bucket. Therefore, it is not surprising that people experience the same ailments that they do. I'm really surprised people expected something else! What this pan does well is regular small capacity liquids e.g. As scooters, motorcycles and the like.

Spills very easily - spout is useless - not recommended

This drip tray has two advantages: it holds (barely) all the oil that flows out of my Scion FR-S; It didn't break while I was using it (contrary to the experience of some other reviewers). If the pan is mostly full (not to the brim), moving it around will cause the oil to slosh over the rim since there's nothing preventing it. I didn't know I had to take that into account - now I do. I really thought the built in spout would help me avoid the mess when pouring used engine oil into new oilโ€ฆ

Could be bigger and have a better filler neck

I bought this to change the oil in my car (obviously). It's described as a 6 liter pan, but my machine holds 5.5 liters, and the drain into the pan only left about 1/4 inch of space at the top of the pain. This means I had to be very careful when moving it to avoid spilling. Also lifting the pain for pouring requires care as the pain is somewhat brittle and deforms under the weight of the oil. Finally, the pouring surface is very wide and requires care to pour without making a mess. It isโ€ฆ
