"Bike gloves " for cycling

Just yesterday I used gloves for the first time. Appears to be a quality product. They are made in China and that worries me. I would prefer Revane to deal with American manufacturers even if the price went up.

Cons

They're a bit small for cycling

I'm looking for a decent pair of decent cycling gloves, will keep looking. Not only do they run small, but the gel inserts lack the cushioning I was expecting. If these were my first pair of cycling gloves I think they would be fine but there has to be a better alternative. These gloves seemed to make my hands go numb while riding, if that's even possible.

Much more comfortable on hands than previous gloves

I had a similar pair of gloves but the pads were foam and not as thick. I bought them as a second pair but ended up liking them a lot better than my current gloves so I ordered a second pair. The gloves are reasonably well ventilated and stay a little drier than previous gloves, and the soft back of the thumb for wiping sweat feels nice too. The glove loops help, although I still have to get my thumbs out, but then again I'm close to needing the next size up, so this might be a bigger issue…

Finger loops will have you wondering how you lived without them

I use these gloves on my flat bar mountain bike. The seal is in the right places. I bought them to relieve pressure on long trips. They do well, but there are softer gel gloves if that's your main goal. What surprised me was the grip these gloves offer. I have the same level of control with less grip power. The soft lining and the increased grip contribute to noticeably less strain on the hands. I bought XL (my usual size), the fit is good, but I wish the wrist was a little longer, especially…

Cons
  • Easy repairability

Reasonable price with good performance

I bought my racing handlebars purely for the looks and luckily they turned out to be quite comfortable. But if it was too smooth! It wasn't immediately noticeable, but after about 2-3 hours it became unbearably slippery from all the sweat. I don't really like wearing gloves when riding, but I grabbed these and it solved the problem. Hands no longer slip on the steering wheel. The added convenience is good too. The fabric part you can wipe the sweat with is ok but not thick enough to absorb all…

Pros
  • Hands-free calling
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I avoided wearing cycling gloves because they were a distraction. I'm so glad I have them, they are comfortable and on their first ride I got on my bike. They protected my hands well and even though I broke my arm, I didn't have a scratch on my hands. Also, my nose bleeds all the time when driving. They have a built in "nose cleaner" on the thumb of both gloves. Is that a rough line? For those who don't have a cold, it probably does. But if you're like me, that's an added bonus! Seriously it…

Excellent value for money for sportswear

I just received these gloves and went for a walk. I really like her. Here are the pros: 1. I like the straps between my fingers. They make it much easier to take off gloves.2. Gel padding is comfortable and reduces fatigue.3. The colors look good. My bike is white with red, black and gray accents so the red gloves match perfectly. The terry toweling on the thumb is very helpful, I'm just the kind of person who gets a runny nose from exercise. The only criticism is the size. I'm in the right…

Great value, good gloves

Just bought and ridden 15 miles. I can immediately say that these gloves offer the comfort I need. I bought the XL although I usually wear the large ones and they fit. Very comfortable and I like the little glove pullers. I've never noticed them and wouldn't buy another pair without this feature. These gloves are still fairly new, but if they last up to a year I'll get my money's worth. I gave 4 stars just for the warmth because they aren't full fingers. If I needed warmth I would go the full…

Good glove for the price

I confess and say after taking my measurements on my hand I fat fingered my order and asked for L instead of XL which is my size. It fit, albeit a little tight. Used for a test drive before giving to my wife which fit much better. Before that I used gloves to lift weights as that was all I could buy from local shops. They worked, but without the right padding, my hands got numb and tingly when commuting. The foam and gel filled pads on this glove really helped and I even noticed a difference…
