🚲 Universal Helmet Mount for All Lights by Cycle Torch Review

The picture shows there was nothing to screw in when I first used it. At best, the nut wasn't secured like most GoPro mounts. Having only used it a few hours after receiving it, I cannot confirm there was a nut in it.

I bought this because of a piece of plastic, same as the GoPro mount. I'll use my own strap if I ever get around to using that one. The plastic has exactly the same hardness and strength. The strap is fine. It's just not the right length for my purposes.

Fits very easily and securely on my Giro MIPS mountain bike helmet. I've snowbiked a lot at night in the mountains outside of Laramie, Wyoming, and it's holding up very well. This strap seems to be well made and I was able to easily attach my flashlight to it. I used this strap so I had to send it back. No problem with the belt. It's just that the harness and helmet aren't entirely compatible. I was able to get it working a bit, but it wasn't as secure as I would have liked. If your helmet has good ventilation spots this will work for you.

Just the thing to attach the light to my helmet. I ride with a flashlight on my helmet and a flashlight on the handlebars. On a mountain bike it has to be on the helmet so you can see around corners.
