Affordable, does what it promises

I have worn these shoes several times on my travels. Easy to put on, true to size. A little unsuitable for normal pedals, better with spikes

Not bad for the price.

After getting a recumbent trike, I needed a system that would keep my feet locked into the pedals so I wouldn't hit them if my foot fell off. Trapped between these shoes and my Crank Bros spikes, I'm loaded down with my new bike.

The shoes are a little warm. Otherwise, fit and performance are excellent. My old boots fit perfectly.

Velcro straps are difficult to untie and loosen when new. As with any cycling shoe, it takes a little time to properly attach the cleats.

Great Deal At Athletic

I really like these shoes. I have a wide foot and these fit perfectly. After rearranging the lugs and adjusting clearance, I did a 7-mile test run. I couldn't be happier. As long as they hold this price I will buy them again.

Suitable for men.

I've never had a clip in a cycling boot. They seem really durable and comfortable. Only ridden a few 10-20 miles so far but they work great. I think I need to adjust my spike a bit as it still does click on the pavement from time to time, but most of the time you can't hear/feel it. The bike fitted in a couple of days so I'm looking forward to getting it dialed in.
