I have a range of 2" to 5" snails for various sizes of bulbs and seedlings that I plant in the beds around the house. Grafts grown in 4 inch coke pots fit perfectly in the hole made by this snail. Planting a large number of seedlings is much easier than digging them up. If you plant several hundred seedlings several times a year, using a drill with a good 20V cordless drill is the only way.

I already threw away the packaging, well, oooooooooooooooooooo. But it's pretty much useless. Digging a hole in the grass? Grass almost doesn't touch. Digging in unploughed earth? Small indentation. Digging in the already used dirt? Works well. Probably saves a few seconds per hole compared to a hand shovel. For the record, I use it with a Dewalt screwdriver that can drill through brick, so I don't have enough power. I'll update if I figure out a trick to actually make it work.

Seems to work. The drill bits are designed to hold in place as they rotate, effectively pulling dirt to the surface and leaving a hole. It doesn't quite work. I think if you can attach it to the drill and keep your hands in place it will work, but for me it just dug into the dirt then I had to rock it back and forth by hand while using it turned back. a few turns and then lift to pull out the dirt. It worked and was much better than digging, but it's not perfect.
