The quality is quite good, but I wouldn't use it on difficult tracks. I use this cassette for both light trails and city riding.

I needed a bigger rear gearing. This cassette gave me that and it shifts better than the OEM cassette. Steel is slightly heavier than aluminum, but it also lasts longer.

I ordered this expecting something pretty cheap but expected the shape to be just right. I installed it and after spinning the cassette was definitely not straight or round. It was more of a wavy oval. To return.

I mounted this on my second bike to cheaply give it more range than the 11-36 cassette I was using. I am using this on a hardtail bike with a short cage derailleur, a medium cage would be better if you have the option, although this is mandatory for full suspension due to chain growth.
