The product is rubbish and the tech support is a joke.

Using this wireless network card reduced my internet download speed from 2700 Kbps to 1200 Kbps. This is with a connection quality of 100 and only one other computer on the network with no applications running. Computer (in addition to the single browser window required for the test). Both computers were equipped with brand new DLink DWL-520 wireless network cards connected to a new DLink DI-514 router. Dial 520+ on Wireless Access Points

Network card is fine, signal reception is good; However, the 2.4 GHz frequency in our 2.4 GHz cordless phones is annoying (heavy crackling). Try not to transfer data while making calls (browsing, downloading, backing up). Another option is to add an extra wired handset or get a 900MHz phone just in case so you can talk and transfer data at the same time. As for the title of this review, I have a D-Link 900AP+ as my access point. 22 Mbit/s capable. Too bad I didn't pick up the few extra bucks…

I was very surprised by all these negative reviews. I've had this wireless adapter for over two months now and it hasn't given me the slightest problem. I have a home network consisting of four desktops and one laptop. My networking gear consists of a Netgear router, two Linksys wireless PCI adapters, this D-Link wireless adapter, a Netgear wireless card adapter, and a Linksys network card.
