Function: Automotive toggle switch with 2 pins, SPST design (single pole single throw), designed with rocker style, easy to turn ON/ OFF. Size: Mounting hole size is 0.472 inches (12MM).Each of the terminals has a machine screw for quick connections, but also easy to be soldered. Mechanical life: more than 100,000 cycles. Good switch good for toggle

Excellent switch. As it is 50 amps I used it as the main switch on my floating boat as I only had 5 bottom switches to control.

Rated for 50A but couldn't handle 40A.

Used for a 12V 40A fan. Only worked for about 2 hours and the plastic around one of the connectors melted and the connector fell off

Doesn't stick to switches

Looks good. Feels solid. But it only lasted two months and used it four times a day. In a clean room. A piece of junk. What I find most offensive is that it is advertised as "10,000 cycles".

One of the three broken

I bought three of these to use in my DC solar system. One was shorted (always on) when I first plugged it in. The seller sent a replacement but could have avoided this with better quality control.

The tip broke off when I tried to tighten the constantly shifting mounting plate

Used 5 or 6 times But when I tried to tighten the mounting screw the whole jig had a habit of spinning on its own, even sideways . The tip of the switch came off. It still works with the remaining bulge and it held 50 amps fine, but I have an automatic hard fuse before the switch terminal. I'm not really complaining about a part that costs less than Wendy's Drive. But I would have expected much more. Whether it's weatherproof or not, I'll probably never know. We'll try another brand.
