Canvas is a good deal, but don't expect professional results right away. These canvases have almost no weight - the wood feels almost like cork. NEARLY. To be honest I saw another review on here and had to leave my own. I bought these canvases at Walmart. They are alright. They're not amazing or anything, but they get the job done. I think my only complaint is that the material feels flimsy. I use acrylic on it and have no problems. I don't need to put any extra layers on top.
