Easy perfect hole on drill bits

I need a 1/2 inch hole through 3/4 inch granite and it fits my Craftsman sander shaft. It was a good decision as I had the perfect hole in about ten minutes. I used a piece of hardboard with a 1/2" hole taped to the post and my wife splashed water on the chisel while I sanded. Very simple and feels like there is still a lot of life in the beat. PS the hole is a little big, but it didn't affect the installation of the faucet.

Pros
  • Best in the niche

Works great on a 3cm quartzite countertop

Based on the reviews I bought this racket and am glad I did. I only had to drill a 1/2" hole in my desk to install the articulating arm for my monitor. He got the job done cleanly and easily. Since I only drilled one hole we didn't use water and the tool seems to be quite hot. but it did the job perfectly and took less than 10 minutes with a 28v cordless grinder. If you plan on drilling more than one hole I would recommend using water to keep the drill bit cool. I was a little apprehensive…

  • GOLS certified

  • Available in black only

Passes granite like clockwork

Used to install a new drinking water faucet. Passed and an inch-thick granite countertop, like butter. Make sure you start the hole at an angle and keep the drill bit cool by dipping it in water from time to time. When I say start the hole at an angle, I mean hold the drill at a 45 degree angle to the countertop and run the drill at high speed before touching the surface. Then lower the drill bit onto the table top at a 45 degree angle until it touches the surface. Be ready to secure the drill…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
