I pass a lot of Damprid gas stations. I live in South Louisiana and have glasses in every closet and bathroom. They just increased the price by $7 at Wally World. They work great and humidify the air in some places if you don't have a dehumidifier.

Good stuff. Calcium Chloride Flake Anhydrous is all there is, but they didn't overpay to get it to you in consumer size. It absorbs moisture easily so do not put it on a hardwood floor, it will leave a permanent wet stain on the floor that will be difficult to remove.

This material is great for those who live in humid climates. Although I have air conditioning, it helps me a lot around the house. This is filler. I started with 5 of 10.5 ounces. Bins - a separate product - are placed in strategic places in my home. Instead of buying more and more of these, I now refill them monthly. This large container is the most economical and fastest way to do it.

Damprid is great. It definitely doesn't collect as much as a desiccant, but it does collect a lot of water. I have both small containers and hanging ones. It really helps keep my clothes fresh. This used to be a problem for me because my closet is right next to the bathroom. If you are in a similar situation I would recommend a small dehumidifier with Damprid. That's what works for me.

I've been using DampRid on my RV while it's in stock and it works great. I just pour some into a 9x13 tray (plastic) - two trays inside and one in the walk-through storage compartment - and it keeps everything dry and smelling fresh. I've found it works better in an open tub, much better than the pre-filled tubs that DampRid sells. Pots need to be emptied and refilled monthly - it's amazing how much moisture that pulls from the air. These large refill packs are also very economical.

I love this product and have used it for many years. I saw that Revain had a 7.5 pound container and ordered it. The box arrived yesterday afternoon. I went to pick it up behind the door and noticed some of the product on the floor. brought into the house. what a mess. I'm in Houston. If you're not familiar with DampRid, it's something of a poor man's dehumidifier. In the past we always answered questions about mold in dormitories with "Let's put DampRid in there". :1) This is more of a resupply system, not a separate one.
