Great concept but poor choice of tubing material. It would have been a great product if the tubing was more flexible to go through the P-trap. I let the hot water run for a bit thinking it would soften the plastic, but it still didn't make the bend.

It was too short to use on a floor drain and connect to a sink, wouldn't fit in the shower I was planning to use it in. hose through the window. So here it is and I'm awaiting my trip to the home store to get more parts to try and get it working.

I work in a hospital/nursing home and the workers are constantly putting food in the sinks and clogging them and I have to use the Drain King to open them without anything else to take apart as homemade sinks there are screens that allow Drain King to go down the drain. When using the chrome adapter on a faucet the green plastic end of the hose is held in place by two relatively small latches (levers) which broke without my strong pull on first use so polyethylene is not very suitable for this . The plastic adapter holds everything well and screws onto the garden hose giving good support for the green plastic cleaning hose so this is the way to go. I bought this in the hope that I could use it to clean my kitchen sink drain without removing the siphon. The clog is somewhere in the wall, NOT trapped. A non-removable strainer in the sink allows the passage of this plastic pipe. However, the tube is so stiff that it doesn't bend the necessary 190 degrees to go through the trap. Now I have to remove the trap and use a regular water snake - which I could have done at the beginning! A more flexible hose would allow this tool to go around curves

I have used this and will not be returning it but it is difficult to use. I used it on a bathroom sink that my old (looks like) needed a part for and couldn't get it easily. The hose on this one is too stiff and slippery making it difficult to get down the drain even when plugged in and only using hot water. I wanted to love it and keep it, but I had many problems with it. First, it's too rigid, making it difficult to maneuver. Second, it was too coiled up, which didn't help when laying the snake as it kept rolling on its own. The third and most important problem with this product is the mechanism and part of the snake that connects and keeps coming loose causing pressurized water to splash everywhere. I used this product to unclog a very slow drain that had become clogged with use. I later discovered that it was partially clogged with drain debris and a bit of hair. I used a thin water hose to push it down the drain until I hit an obstruction, then turned on the water (hot) to cut through the blockage.
