Does what it's supposed to. However, do not run your hand over the board as you will end up with very small pieces, use a paper towel! You don't have to worry, they could handle it better.

Good product. We use it often, it helps so that the crumbs from cutting bread do not fall on the table. However, it fell apart and had to be re-glued, so I'm deducting a star.

Picks up crumbs as it should and seems to be well made. My only complaint is that even if there isn't bread to slice, it's almost always missing because it's too big to store. My wife is happy, that's enough for me.

I put my homemade bread on this board and wrap it in plastic to keep it soft. When I cut bread, the crumbs fall to the floor. The tray slides out and can be used for whatever your heart desires. So maybe the lower compartment. I made a good purchase.

I love this thing! There are a lot of crumbs in my crusty homemade bread. This board catches about 95% of the crumbs, which I then put in a jar and keep in the freezer. I always have fabulous crunchy breadcrumbs to top everything from soup to salad to casserole.

1) Tray is made of pressed laminate NOT bamboo as advertised 2) Tray and slats are just glued and lack a strong or aesthetic fit at the seams and seams. 3 ) Cutting ledges are very thin (only 1/4 inch, so unreliable for slicing bread.>> DO NOT waste your money on this cheap, poor quality bread cutting board.

This product is so cheaply made! Looks good but mine arrived badly taped and with a cracked bottom. The packaging of the product was also damaged where someone else returned it. It looked like it had been cut open with a paper knife and split at the top. Not bamboo. Very thin material
