This product differs in every way from other better known brands at a slightly lower price. The hooks and loops are strong and the adhesive on the back is thick and sticky. It doesn't stick to the fabric any better than other brands. I have to use hot glue to hold the loop strips on "Draftbuster" window quilts, but that's just the nature of sticking things to fabric, not a flaw in the product itself. The velcro itself is very strong but the adhesive won't hold if you pull it apart. I don't think the glue is any less sticky than regular velcro, I think velcro is stronger than average. I use it for preschoolers with special needs laminated workbooks. For some of my students it was too strong to fall apart easily. This item does exactly what you need. It comes in a small box with two rolls, one roll of hook tape and one roll of loop tape. The rolls can be cut into strips of any size and have an adhesive backing (you will need to peel off the backing on each side).
