I knocked out points I wouldn't otherwise have for one reason: blunt ends. Sounds like you might think you're getting a pair of small scissors that are good for choosy cutting, but that's not true. I'm sure some will find them suitable, I don't because of the loose ends.

I've had a lot of decoupage shears and these aren't the best. They cut well in a straight line, but once you start flipping the paper the cut gets out of hand and you lose the fine control you need to cut for decoupage. They're good for other small projects, so I'm keeping them, but for decoupage and fine cutting, forget it.

The description says that although one of the photos was black the scissors you will receive will actually be blue but I was disappointed to get black ones. I also thought, and this is my fault, that by "micro" they meant micro-serrated blades. That's not the case. Micro-serrated scissors work particularly well with yarn, which is what I wanted them for, so I was disappointed even though the description NEVER said they had micro-serrated.
