Terrible finish. The whitewash has peeled off my hands. The paint doesn't stay that way. I wiped all of the whitewash off with a damp cloth so I could use it. Better to stay unfinished. Less work.

Bought to make a chalkboard for my son's room. It's not square, not exactly 12x12 (I tried using 12x12 vinyl and it was overhanging on all 4 sides), after cleaning the vinyl it didn't stick so I decided to use paint , and the paint peeled off. What they use to whitewash the board is repellent acrylic paint, 2 brands of our vinyl and ModPodge.

I bought this for the Cricut project. I should have inspected both pieces before using them. One of them was deformed making it virtually unusable. For the price isn't too bad. And due to time constraints, that was the only choice I had. It's a VERY light cheap blade. Hence the price. I also think that the cut plays a role in the price, as everyone has one Had lumps on her face. They may also feel whitewashed. In a pinch, you might be fine. Just check first if they are puckered or not.

That sucks. I understand they are supposed to be "Country Farmhouse" but both of my signs were cracked enormously. Not like the usual little cracks. HUGE CRACKS like about to break in half. I was very disappointed as I only opened them a few weeks after purchasing them as they were for a Father's Day idea with my kids. I still used them, but I got the impression that they had no cracks and that they were just wooden signs. Not to mention the paint on them will wear and peel. I will never buy…

I actually bought these to use as large flat surfaces just to test stain color mixes on spruce wood, not for their intended purpose as a marker. As other reviewers point out, there are definitely warp issues. I ordered two units so ended up with 4 and they all had some level of warpage. When preparing the surface I ended up sanding a lot with 80 grit just to try and level the surface a bit before moving on to a finer grit to prepare it for painting.
