Amazing little kit

Beats old Chevrolet ball joints with the ease of Thor's hammer. An essential tool in the garage even if you don't use it every day.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Slightly dented

I've abused it and it's great

Used on a Nissan Frontier and to remove a rusted rear spring pin on a Ford F-250. Works well, I probably put more pressure on it than intended and it didn't break.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great Value Basic Kit

This minimal kit includes everything you need to press in new ball joints into a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid without removing the control arms from the subframe. Axles failed due to clutch replacement. The press did not bow to our situation. The body is strong.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slim

Split the ball joint like a pro!

Want to feel like a pro? Center camera, surrounded by women helping, watching the pinnacle of male performance and getting that two-handed ball training community action, then buy this set! In real life this set has worked flawlessly and I couldn't be happier! I have kits that cost hundreds of dollars and this one works, feels and works the same!

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Heavy Duty Surprise

It was very difficult to remove the ball joint. Broke 3 or 4 tools to get it out of the knuckle. Bought without expecting too much. Some of these Chinese tools, like the ones I've already broken, cannot be reused without damage even if they work well in the current job. This bad boy did his job without damaging the tool or the machine. Happy with it and would recommend.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Works great with a little common sense!

Grease the threads to make them slippery and use a wrench. My ball joints on my '97 F150 4X4 have been pretty rusty since they came from the factory. Put pressure on them, put the old head on them and hit them with a hammer. After 2-3 times they came out immediately. Installation was easy with one tool. Glad I had it otherwise I would have used a blue socket wrench to take them off. Also better than a 3 pound sled beating the cat out of everything.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
