I bought several phone holders for my car last summer and none were as good as this one. It's pretty durable and looks solid. What I love most is that I can put it right on the dashboard and lock it so it doesn't move or fall off. Would recommend to anyone who drives a lot and uses their phone as a GPS device.

Overall I'm disappointed. It worked very well on my dash for about 2 days, but the suction dropped off and it stopped sticking normally after that. After that I tried using a 3m sticky pad but as the suction cup lost its 'stickiness' it didn't stick to it either resulting in the 3m pad not doing anything. So yes I am returning.

Much better than all those "automatic" open and close models that are everywhere. I was constantly opening and closing them and accidentally touching the side button, which was right where I had to hold the phone to accurately touch the screen. In this case, manually press the sides against the phone and press the button on the back to release them. Much better. I only wish it had wireless charging, that's the only improvement I would make on this model.

This car phone holder is awesome! I've had it for 3 months now and it works without any problems. I love how I can turn it left or right (to see my rear camera) and it won't fall off. I have purchased many of these phone holders over the years and this is by far the best! I was given extra glue to stick it on the dash to keep it secure but I had no problem with excessive heat when it came loose. The mount itself is medium strength for a dash mount, so not a problem to begin with. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and it held the phone perfectly without falling about 10 times and then started dropping my phone on the floor. I've had it for a few months now and overall it's a very good mobile mount. The sticky, sticky base is definitely a big improvement over the previous-gen suction cup: it sticks well and stays in place. I really like the design of the phone clasp compared to the old generation pull clasp. The phone mount is secure and the button release makes the whole experience a breeze.
