Davis Instruments 420 Cable System Review

I had to turn the steering wheel with both hands and after using this product I can use one finger. The effects of this product last for 3 weeks after the first application. The boat is stored outside in the AZ. I couldn't get the steering cable out so I just drilled a hole in the existing bolt, pushed it in and used it.

The nut did not fit on the side that the instructions said should have. I drilled a hole in the middle of the tube and lengthened the handlebars, added oil (hack) and clamped it with rubber. Some oil comes out at the other end. You need to buy a washer for caulking. Can't return it as I used oil and used the washer that came with it and put it in the linkage.

Not very impressed. I followed the instructions for the letter "T". I cleaned everything, drilled a hole, installed the nut and the instructions said it would hold up to 1/2 bottle of liquid.
