Exactly what I needed.

I added power windows, power door locks, and a stereo to an old Ford pickup, so I had a bunch of wires and a lot of power consumption. These boots allow me to route power through the firewall, through the voids to the door with each transition looking professional and avoiding the kinks normally associated with door actuation. Good product.

Incorrect packaging and part number.

Single boot in OEM packaging with a 5 pack shoe part number. I got ONE instead of five. In order to get a refund I had to send it back and purchase individual items to reach the quantity needed. It cost me over $40 to get what I wanted. It's over $20 for a boot. DISSATISFIED. Alan

The ideal solution for passing wires of various sizes through firewall or body panels.

Absolutely perfect for passing auxiliary cables through a firewall or body panels. You can trim the tip to get a bigger hole. The elastic is flexible making it easy to thread oversized wire through for a snug fit. The step drill is extremely useful for getting the right hole diameter, and it's very short, making it easy to install in those hard-to-reach places.
