My eyes were bigger than my stomach (subwoofer too)

I was too ambitious in choosing this amp. It was more powerful, more powerful and too big for my Infinity LP 120. I returned it and bought the 100 watt model. To be clear, this was correctly advertised. It's all my fault I bought the wrong amp. Looks like an impressive unit.

Great amp with lots of features

Use this amp to drive a 10" MTX subwoofer in a homemade box. Laptop and fine-tuning the sound. This made a big difference since I have a flat box. A USB connector to the computer is included. Auto on and off works great. No complaints.

Pros
  • Receiver and amp
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great amp for the money

Great amp for the money and definitely sounds more powerful than the 250W. Mine is currently hooked up to my 2 ohm subwoofer with the gain adjusted so that it doesn't draw too much extra power and is working fine. The only problem I have is that my printer's USB cable doesn't work with the amp for some reason.

Great amp for the money

Great amp for the money and definitely sounds over 250 watts, mine is currently hooked up to my 2 ohm subwoofer with the gain adjusted to compensate for this so it does not draw too much extra energy and works flawlessly. The only problem I have is that my printer's USB cable doesn't work with the amp for some reason.

Scored a touchdown but missed an extra point

The best way I can describe this amp is with a football metaphor: Dayton scored a touchdown but missed an extra point. Here's why: 1) The only way to control this amp is to download the software and connect it to your computer with a USB cable. Good thing there is no USB cable included! I had to grab one from my printer. 2) The red/black cable coming from behind is too short. I had to add another 12" of cable because it was impossible to get behind the subwoofer and connect the cables to the…
