Terrible Hole Saw - Waste of Money

This hole saw was a complete disappointment. Based on my observations, it lacked the precision and durability I expect from an industrial and scientific cutting tool. The teeth on the saw quickly became dull and caused the cut to be rugged and uneven. The only positive aspect was that it fits most standard drills. A definite con is that it does not come with a pilot drill bit, which can be frustrating for those who do not have one. Overall, not worth the money.

Pros
  • Efficiently cuts through wood, plastic, and other materials with its 60mm hole size
Cons
  • Could potentially damage material or create uneven edges if not used properly

Best consumer hole saw I've ever seen.

I've bought many other brands from Starrett, Lenox, Blumol and many others, all others have terrible runout and never a finished hole of the specified size. These are absolutely the best I have seen in over 40 years of metal production, almost no wear, they are amazing! Yes, I would buy it again and order a different size. Soon I will only have Diablo crowns.

Pros
  • HONG SAW DB 4-3/8 X60MM
Cons
  • No Instructions

Not the best choice for wood

I was trying to cut holes in the ceiling with 3/4" pine tongue and groove to install LED lights. The teeth are designed to grip wood so the saw is constantly gripping instead of cutting. It is very easy to get injured and sprain or break your wrist. Be careful. This can work well on drywall. I used it to score the surface of the wood and then used it as an outline and cut out the handles with a jigsaw. A fairly expensive option compared to a pencil.

Pros
  • BOX DB 4-3/8 X60MM
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
