Good product for 1/3 part OEM

Why did I wait so long! This baby revs much faster than the worn out old one, starts right away. I had to widen a hole to fit but it sticks tight.

All photos show starter assembly. They sent me this

Judging by the photos the starter should have a magnet and my mounting cover came with nothing, damn that's one thing I don't you can just buy it for that! Very disappointed, I've never had an appetizer like this before.

Great price but requires modification

The starter motor works great and I am able to use my Honda Craftsman 2 cylinder mower again. Another reviewer of this product noted that the screw holes are misaligned. It is true. If you don't mind finding a small fix, use a coarse (round) rattail file to alter one of the bolt holes (don't file the starter threaded holes) where it mounts, then buy one. I hand drilled a mounting hole about 7/64". Then this starter turned just fine. No gear grinding when the starter engages the flywheel. Great…
