Description of πŸ”’ DC Cargo Mall 10 D-Ring Tie-Down Anchors | Heavy Duty 3/8" Steel D-Rings for RV Campers, Trucks, Trailers, Boats, Vans | Secure Tie-Downs for Kayaks, Motorcycles, Deliveries, ATVs

These medium-mini D-rings are made of exceptionally heavy duty solid steel, 3/8" diameter thick. They are strong and durable, and can handle a load up to 1,666 pounds. That means that this pack of 4 rings can bear up to 6,664 pounds! See the description below for a clear guide on how to figure out your tie-down limits when loadings trucks and trailers, especially if you're up for DOT inspection. Small bolt-on D-rings are the most convenient pieces of tie down metal available. Generally used as tie-down anchors on trucks, pickups, campers, vans, boats, and trailers, they are handy as wall hooks in organized garages, warehouses, and workshops as well. See pictures for a clear visual image of all the dimensions to be sure that this is the tie down you need. Please realize that these rings come with mounting brackets but not bolts. The recommended installation would be with 3/8" diameter carriage bolts to fit the square holes on the mounting clips. Once these D-rings are mounted, you can use them as tie-down anchors for motorcycle straps, bungee cords, tarp straps, small chains, ratchet and cam straps, ropes, and other tie-downs. Ideal for securing kayaks, ATVs and other powersport equipment, bikes, refrigerators and similar appliances, delivery and moving boxes, camping gear, etc. INVEST IN THE BEST. This tie-down anchor also comes in a 10-pack or as a real mini 1/4" diameter.

Sturdy and durable

They are excellent and very strong but they proved to be too big for the 5.5 x 10 trailer space so I chose 1/4". I can still use 2 of these as shipping back to Revain is about $9.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

They worked great with 5/16 carriage bolts

They worked great with 5/16 carriage bolts. I attached them to a piece of 2x6 reinforced 1" plywood to ship my bike from California to North Carolina. Between them and my Condor chock, the bike never moved.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Great anchors for my universal 5x8 trailer

Very good trailer mounts. 3/8 carriage bolts were used for assembly. Exactly what I was looking for. The local store had two sizes: one huge, the other less fat. They are medium sized and are perfect for securing a motorcycle or other heavy loads.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Little repairability

STOUT IS THE RIGHT SIZE

Two sets of 10 so far. STRONG STEEL, STRONG construction. I welded all 10 of each set to my two utility trailers. I didn't want or need 1/2 inch for a trailer load. They work with small straps, big straps, whatever you choose to use. You can even pass most of the chain through them. They will last the life of the pendant... and yes, you can position it however you like when you weld it in. When you screw it in, the bolts break out long before the rings or sockets come out.

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Negative Gift

What and how much I needed.

These things are great! I had trouble finding anchor points for medium loads in stores around me. They were light (400 pounds) or heavy (5000 pounds) but not medium in size. I didn't want to trust my bike with light anchor points, and the heavy anchor points were ridiculously large and expensive ($10 each). By the way, the lungs would probably be fine, but they looked fragile. Why take the risk when your $15,000 motorcycle falls off a trailer or collides with a nearby motorcycle. And 10 packs…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some flaws

Perfect fit and heavy duty

So like the other reviews I wanted medium weight rings. The big swamp stores charge either $9 for 4 light ones (300 pounds) or $9 for a heavy one (I think 4000 pounds). As for me, I wanted to put 4 on my 5x8 trailer. I was able to install 2 straps for my ATV and the headlights didn't fit me. The heavy ones are gone as my wooden planks will break before they fail and I'll spend $40. I'm so glad I found her. They're perfect and feel as strong as they are heavy, but you get 4 for just a few bucks…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

This would be fine if you attached them 3/8 inch.

They're big and strong. Note the rectangular knockouts for the bolts. otherwise if you want to secure them with 3/8" carriage bolts you will probably need washers as shown in the pictures (July 2016). The "D" ring is about 3/8" and you will need it with Mount 3/8" screws to get full mounting strength. The 1/4" or 5/16" carriage bolts are too small and twist in the square mounting cutouts. I want the square mounting cutouts to be visible in the picture If the picture was better and I could mount

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

Very happy! - Exterior Accessories

Aluminum tool box covers the two front mounting points on my truck body, I installed them on the front of the tool box as additional mounting points which are now very easy to access. At first I was concerned that they would be too big and not fit or look right, but I have to say I am very happy with the end result! These D rings have a solid construction, I can shake my whole truck. He grabbed and pulled her with all his might. Some things to consider. >>> These brackets are designed…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Volume
