It's supposed to fit my Toyota Matrix, but it doesn't.

Claims to fit my Toyota Matrix but doesn't. This is true for this type of engine, but the header lacks the O2 sensor connector required by the matrix.

Pros
  • One-piece construction reduces weight by eliminating center flanges
Cons
  • Legacy model

Fits perfectly.: Manifold and parts

Went without problems. The hardest part was grinding off the old rusty bolts from the top heat shield to loosen it from the drain pipe head. The instructions state that you must remove both the top and bottom shields from the stock header, but after removing the top and removing the screws from the engine studs I was able to turn the entire header upside down and pull it out between them. The subframe and chassis with the lower heat shield on it are no problem, and the DC went backwards…

Pros
  • Manifold
Cons
  • Almost never
