I installed this to increase the speed on a laptop that I've already upgraded to an SSD. did all of this only to find out it had a 1300mhz dual core processor lol. I have an older HP Omni 27 All in One. Installed two of 8GB total 16GB. DUOMEIQI 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR3/DDR3L 1600MHz Sodimm 2RX8 PC3/PC3L-12800S 204 Pins 1.35V/1.5V CL11 Unbuffered Dual Channel No ECC. There were no problems with tension. Windows eats up memory, big surprise I know! The laptop came with 6GB (4GB and 2GB). It won't be dual channel, and Windows always wants more. So now I have 16GB of dual channel memory and I should be able to load the system with more browser tabs or apps without it crashing anytime soon.

Yes this is from an unknown manufacturer but I needed to upgrade my little Zotac Media Hub and wanted to increase the capacity to 16GB. Previously I used 8GB of Crucial RAM which I transferred to another computer that performs a similar function. I ran some RAM tests and honestly didn't find much of a difference between the two. My crappy laptop actually works without freezing all the time! Too bad HP couldn't figure that out before they sold this piece of crap. With memory and hard drive prices constantly falling, this is the best thing you can do to increase the speed of your laptop or desktop computer. Just ask someone to inspect your car who knows how to de-junk and update those parts and you'll have a new car for the price of a few parts. PS, W7 still works, great!

Tried 3 previous modules. I ordered one wrong, the next two were picked up by techies. None of them worked more than 15 minutes. then turned black. The original still works. I installed this (after consulting the tech) and it worked from the start. Two weeks later it is still working perfectly. and very fast compared to what I had before.
