Salt is ok but unfortunately it doesn't fit our daughter's skin as hoped. We put 1-2 cups of bath in it each day for her sensitive skin Eczema, shellfish, etc. Many have had great success with sea salt baths, but unfortunately it didn't work for us :( I'm not sure if it's a specific type of sea salt or just my daughter's unruly skin that's a problem. I've been using Dead Sea salt from various brands for many years. I live in Israel and visit the Dead Sea every weekend. I know how Dead Sea salt is supposed to feel and taste in water. It doesn't feel or taste like real Dead Sea salt. I bought this because it was about 50% cheaper than what I usually order, but I'll just order what I used to use.
