This product works well for wounds. It’s thin enough or you can gather many layers of the gauze for bigger wounds. However, please consult a physician regarding how often you should change the gauze on a wound. Glad I bought it in bulk.

Worked great to absorb a deep wound when gauze was unavailable. Controlled some heavy bleeding until arrival of EMTs Very poor quality.

Very small, no sponginess and lost shape when removed from sleeve. My toilet paper has more absorbing power in 2 squares than 2 of these .

i recently had surgery and needed gauze padding to put over my incision site. this gauze is very okay, it’s cheap and thats obvious when you use it. it works well enough for its price, but it’s painfully thin and you end up using a lot to make up the difference.

I purchased these as surgical sponges for some minor cleaning. I have never seen a thinner "surgical" sponge in my life. I have a piece of cheese cloth that has a higher thread count. You can't just take 1 out of the package. You almost always get a few more than you bargained for. These "sponges" tend to disintegrate even performing light cleaning activities. When you are done you have to go back and pick out small pieces of threads. If you stack them multiple layers thick they do seem to work

Advertised 3x3, but it is actually 2.5x2.5. Advertised 8 plus actually 4 ply. Why lie about the product makes no sense. Makes me want to quit online shopping cause of companies like this. There is no more integrity today very sad. F.T.W.

I wouldn’t recommend these for any sort of dental needs, as they will shred in your mouth. It seems the more wet they became, the more they shred apart. I wouldn’t call these sponges because they didn’t really absorb much. I think these would be better used for… I’m not sure, maybe an arts and crafts project. Maybe mosaic style if you want to somehow color or dye these. But as far as any medical use, these aren’t the ones in my opinion.

This gauze pad is so loosely woven even used directly from the package you couldn't use it as a strainer. Absorbency: NOI had to put 4 together for it to be useful.

These gauze pads are good for protecting wounds and are very light and airy. They provide a good cushion but due to the open cell design, quite a few pads are needed to give adequate absorbency.

These are not sterile. Unless the seller has updated the product information these ARE NOT sterile gauze. They are not individually wrapped and that makes them unsterile. There are 4 packages and each package has 200 gauze pieces. Luckily I was able to use them for something else, but if you need sterile gauze do not buy.

These are the perfect weave for applying toner. I like the open weave instead of the cotton pad type. The only problem with them is they are full of lint bits that get stuck all over your face. You can fix this problem by wetting them but they absorb less product.

Junk. Junk. Non-sterile surgical sponges . Very thin not absorbent junk! Was going to be used to wipe my dogs eyes. Useless for any purpose . Very disappointed!

I have bought this brand many times before and have always been happy with the item but not this time.the gauze pads were not 12 ply.more like 4 ply very thin. Don't know what happened but I will buy another brand in the future.

These are not gauze pads y'all, they're surgical sponges made of cotton gauze. So obviously, they will not be good gauze pads.However. If you do know the difference, and are actually shopping for surgical sponges, you should know that these are deficient in being that also. So, lose-lose really.
