I was looking for some red metallic paint for the salt dough decorations I made with my toddler to paint them in holiday colors. Incidentally, this color doesn't even come close to "ruby red" or any other red. It's usually metallic brown or coppery. It's also very thin and transparent, like good paint has just been diluted with water. Whoever applied the labels or wrote the description must be color blind or have been deprived of primary color in childhood. I regret this, but still do not excuse the glaring error regarding this color. The only way it could be further from ruby red is if it were blue. If you're expecting something close to classic red, look elsewhere. It's more of a coppery, metallic brown.
