Cool but tiny

This is the most adorable aquarium decoration. My only criticism is the size as it is very, very small. So small that my beta doesn't even fit in it and I bought it for this purpose.

Betta Almost Died

He almost killed our favorite two-year-old chicken on this sub. He got stuck in very small windows and we didn't notice and when we got him out as you can see in the photos he was almost dead. After 48 hours of tons of stressful handling of the fur, a crying 5 year old . he is on the mend. In the third photo he has a wound on his head and is not eating, let's see if he survives. The sub was very cute and we thought the fish would just hide in it... Didn't realize it got stuck in a holeโ€ฆ

Not suitable for adult bettas

I really liked the look of this submarine in the aquarium, it looks aesthetically pleasing, but the workmanship is very poor. The portholes are not smooth, they have very rough edges so my husband smoothed them out as best he could. The main opening is fine, but the smaller portholes are too small for an adult betta. This will probably work well with a young rooster or smaller fish no larger than a dime. I blame myself, I should have realized mine was too big, but I didn't think he would try to
