These bamboo skewers are great value. They are of medium thickness. They have beautiful finishes. Since they're round, I use two slightly spaced apart if I don't want the food to turn when flipped on the grill (especially for shrimp). Good value for this amount of skewers.

The description of this product is incorrect. It says they are 0.16 inches, which is consistent with other products I've used. This is a very durable size. However, they are only 0.11 inches, which is much thinner and weaker. Given that thicker ones usually cost MUCH more, you're paying for better quality/thickness instead of getting it!

I bought them for cooking, but then I started to find other uses for them. Like in the garden - they are long enough to make small potted flagpoles. And when sewn, they're strong enough to turn flu masks inside out and rip open the seams (if I'm careful). And crafts - for example, make small models of paper houses and use them as frames. I'm only limited by my imagination and haven't reached that limit yet. LAUGH OUT LOUD.
