Perfect solution! for parts and components

I installed this on my Trek Domane with Sram Force AXS after investigating a pesky chain drop issue (switching to a smaller chainring). It was easy to install and immediately solved a common problem with this group set. I recommend this most economical solution.

Easy fix, works great!

Had a constant broken chain problem when shifting to the small front chainring. The adjustment didn't help much. Decided to try Dog Fang for a long ride where letting go would be an issue. Very light and easy to install. Of course, no matter how careful I was, the bike tried to unhook at the worst possible moment. Dog Fang kept the chain from slipping, and a quick stomp on the pedal put it back in place without wasting time or greasy fingers. Great simple product and idea, thanks.

Simple but effective

I have broken chains on all my bikes from time to time. My front derailleurs are properly adjusted and tuned for each bike. After a recent incident with a dropped chain, I decided to take a closer look at the chain catchers. A couple of my bikes have a round seat tube, so a simple block like grandpa's dog tooth will do. Installed it and within the first week it did the job, got out of the saddle and up that steep hill. I heard the chain hit the dog's fang and then fall onto the small chainringโ€ฆ

Chain guide really works

This is my third bike with a chain guide. I know there are a bit cheaper out there but chances are you get what you pay for. The plastic of this model is very hard, your chain is unlikely to eat it. My last bike had an out of round down tube and it was difficult to keep the chain guide secure. I would not recommend this product for this type of bike tube. But for a round tube, if you order the right size (measure bottom tube diameter before ordering), it's one of the best purchases you canโ€ฆ
