This key WILL NOT FIT 06-later BMW vehicles. You need 86mm with 16 grooves. But this is a quality tool, sold by people who care about what they do. It's also worth noting that this is a 17mm socket head, not a 27mm socket.

Ours match the filters perfectly. They slide in and out without binding. In our case we use a 3/8" ratchet and extension. The main comment I have is that in the ball bearing of a standard 3/8" ratchet there is no mount in the 3/8" square mount. This head/tool falls off the 3/8" ratchet or 3/8" extension very easily.
