🔒 Anodized Defender Security 9482 Latch Review

Based on our own experience, this bolt latch is a great choice for securing doors or gates. The anodized coating provides rust-resistance and durability. The bolt itself is sturdy and easy to install. The only downside is that it is not adjustable, so it may not work for all types of doors or gates.

I installed this on an exterior door that opens outwards. Not sure what the other reviewer meant by the "pull to close" or "pull to open" issue. It is designed to be installed on both hinged and hinged doors, but if you install it backwards you will never close the door.

At first I couldn't because of the door on my z. B. not working properly. However, someone entered my office again with the door locked. I work fine, see photos, I had to readjust a little because my door didn't fit the thickness and there is a gap when you climb the door higher. I place the latch on the door so that it lines up with the edge of the door on the outside. I screwed in the screws and it works fine. Something sticks out on the inside and you don't notice it on the outside at all…
