🔌 Google WiFi Wall Mount Shelf for Google Nest WiFi Router and System - ABS Bracket Holder with Built-in Cable Management (White) Review

The wall mount itself is very nice and supports Google Nest Point well. The cable management works great, giving a clean look at the end and giving you a lot more flexibility in terms of point or router placement. The only problem I had was the poor quality of the screws, which hardly ever failed even in fairly soft plywood after drilling pilot holes.

I have 2 complaints about the stand. 1) The cutter seat is not deep enough and therefore unstable (unstable). If you accidentally hit the stand or the router, the router will move out of position. I connected my router with a2). The cable space is too small so it's very snug which is annoying when set up properly. It only works with the ribbon cable that comes with the router and if you try to use a different Ethernet cable you will have a hard time connecting.

Excellent design. When the light ring is on, it shines through a round hole on the mount, which is cool. This product is definitely worth buying if you need to wall mount your nest. My main gripe is that the quality of the plastic is just about ok but not as white as the router and is a bit more shiny which it isn't. not what I expected for the $13 price tag. If you have a 1000Mbps connection from your ISP, don't buy it. This halves the Wi-Fi speed, the wired connection shows 900 Mbps, the Google Nest Wifi shows around 450 Mbps. The Google Nest's Wi-Fi is connected to a wired connection for the return trip to cover network overhang. I contacted Google support, escalated the situation and finally they admitted they couldn't match what I got from the old Orbi I borrowed to test. It's bad to redo all the settings now, but I'm waiting for Orbi delivery…
