Small but very strong!

I've gone crazy reading all the different cars and all the reviews. But I'm so glad I did! This particular model has been perfect for espresso and lattes since the first day I got it. Thanks Delonghi, you really put a lot of steam into this little car! I went ahead and spent a few bucks more for the Expresso Shot, a 12-ounce stainless steel pitcher with a tamper, and it was well worth it. Thanks Revane, I feel like I have my own little cafe now!

Perfect for homemade lattes

I've had this machine for a few months now. It's so convenient and EASY once you read the user manual. I've been a barista for 5 years and have always used vending machines. This guide makes espresso better in my opinion. Be sure to buy something to stuff the espresso. I also bought a smaller milk jug because the steam nozzle is low. I use all the shot glasses I have at home and have never had any trouble fitting them. I researched many espresso machines before deciding on this one and I am…

Pros

Cons
  • A few little things

As a novice espresso maker I was very nervous about buying a coffee maker. Finally I decided to give the DeLonghi EC155M a shot and now I know I made the best choice! Fits perfectly on my desk and doesn't take up much space. But the big challenge was making the coffee. It passed all the tests and now I make coffee with ease. So easy to use and easy to clean too. I am so happy with my purchase! For any beginner this car is the best and believe me i did a lot of homework before i bought it. Have…

Very good car! good for kitchen and dining room

Very good car for the money. Has two missions. One for a single espresso and one for a double. A bit confused at first as I didn't expect two coffee liners. I have had a Phillips Saeco for 8 years and it has been great. This model was discontinued, I had to look for another one. This DeLonghi had good reviews so I took a chance and wasn't disappointed. We took it to my sons for Christmas so I didn't have to go out and go to Starbucks every day for a latte. When I tried to get it out of the back

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Lasts a month in steam espresso machines

Revised 4 star rating from before. I've had my kettle for a month now and it's already broken. A few weeks ago, the steam nozzle started leaking constantly, causing my countertop to get wet. Then the filter holder no longer snaps into place. They're replacing it, so I'll see if it was just a defective unit. But multiple issues at once a month is definitely a red flag. Some tips when buying this device: 1. Buy small espresso cups. A 2 ounce glass is almost too big.2. Buy a separate tamper. But…

This machine does not make a good espresso!

I really wanted to like this device but it doesn't work. I had a DeLonghi/Espresso combo machine and loved it. The espresso machine broke so I figured another Delonghi machine would be just as good. When you turn the knob to start espresso brewing on the ECM155M, the motor makes a loud noise and vibrates. I don't know why the coffee maker is still vibrating let alone such a strong vibration. You must use something heavy to catch the espresso or to hold the container or the machine will shake…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Quick to set up, easy to use, easy to clean.

descent of a cup of espresso, but not the best I've brewed. My favorite has always been an old Starbucks barista machine I bought 13 years ago and it's only recently started to sound like it's about to bite. So I bought these based on the reviews and the price was reasonable - a brand I was also familiar with from working at Starbucks when we switched to DeLonghi for our main espresso machines. These are multi-thousand dollar machines, and yes, they taste different than the ones I make at home.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • infinitely sluggish

The best deal for everyday tea enjoyment

If you are looking for a restaurant quality espresso maker for a skilled barista, you are in the wrong place and will have to spend a lot more money. This machine is ideal for everyday coffee enjoyment. I was a bit hesitant after reading some low rated reviews, but after doing a lot of research on several websites I decided that this machine has the most positive reviews for any home espresso machine in this price range. The filter holder is a little tricky to attach if you put in too much…

Always a good espresso

--I have posted a video if you want to see the machine in action --This espresso machine is equipped with a stainless steel boiler and a professional 15 bar pressure pump. While it has some flaws, it consistently makes good espresso and that's the most important thing (for me). Be sure to use a reasonably fine grind and pound as evenly as possible. I can't get a smooth, fine grind with my basic blade grinder and I dislike using a burr grinder as it's very difficult to clean, so on a whim I…
