Works very well for mass airflow

This is an updated design I think? My truck is 17 years old and the MAF was never changed. I noticed that the LTFT kept getting higher and higher on the Autobahn. I installed this in about 5 minutes and the fuel trim is more accurate now.

Mass Air Flow Sensor: Replacement Parts

Doesn't quite fit like AC Delco. Pre and post MAF rubber parts do not fit as well as OEM parts. Delphi, where it meets the rubber, is made of plastic. The AC Delco was metal and fitted better. If he keeps code P0101 I'll be happy.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Four years later Sensors

Everything was fine at first but I just replaced it with the original and it makes a big difference. It didn't fit the pipe directly and I think the performance was compromised and gradually degraded. I won't say goodbye to that particular motor anymore, always trying to get serial numbers, that's the difference.

Pros
  • GOLS certification
Cons
  • Nothing here

installed on a 2000 chevy astro, i think the tabs are there.

fitted on a 2000 Chevy Astro, I think the tabs are different than the original Maf because the design of the part has changed from what I've read < I just glued it on and clamped it as is, problems with it. I suppose you can cut out the rubber entrance to fit the tabs on this piece but I was too lazy.

It worked great and at a great price!

Purchased after purchasing a refurbished unit that was not working. Apparently getting a rebuilt MAF that works is a coin toss. So I learned my lesson that the new one is better. What was even better was the price! I bought the reman from a small business because I really enjoy supporting the little guys. Unfortunately it didn't work and it's not the fault of the company I bought it from. They didn't sell new devices like this. This new MAF was priced $40 less than a remanufactured block…

MAF: Always buy OEM.

For the second time this year I've decided to save money on a new MAF by not buying an OEM. Twice I had to return a cheap MAF and buy an OEM to fix my problem. This unit only cost me an additional six dollars because it was a return and the box was slightly damaged. I easily understood why the previous owner returned it; One of the three prongs was not fully inserted into the connector, causing the device to not work. Pen planted, DMRV installed and Tadaa! The problem was fixed immediately…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Solve my lean fuel problem. Codes P0171 and P0174.

I have a '96 Chevrolet S10 with a 4.3 V6 engine. He has been doing poorly for some time. I changed detail by detail. The OBD11 scanner showed codes P0171 and P0174. I previously bought a cheap MAF sensor online for $30. Solved my problem for a while. Of course I would not have thought that it would run out after 3 months. So I started replacing the vacuum lines, intake manifold gasket, fuel pump and even manually cleaning the injectors to no avail. In the end I decided to start from scratch. I…

Pros
  • Very impressive

  • I'm having problems

This one only clocked up about 20,000 miles before it started behaving.

* Edit: After 3 years it started to go haywire. I'm going to buy an AC Delco model. As it is "Trademark" and the amount of money was paid, it should have taken longer. I've driven about 20,000 miles with this MAF sensor since I installed it and it has failed. Having tried several other brands and been disappointed. I decided to try this model based on the reviews here and the tests on rockauto (just google it). I reset BCM after installing this MAF. I had to use the included 4 pin to 3 pin…

  • Durable finish
