Faulty Sensor Caused Major Issues

This Automotive Sensor caused more problems than it solved .While it initially seemed to work, soon after installation, it gave inaccurate readings and ultimately caused damage to my engine..

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Inaccurate Readings, Caused Engine Damage

The car had a bad MAF and I ordered this sensor instead of getting it.

Didn't work in my car. The car had a bad mass air flow sensor and I ordered this sensor rather than buying it from the dealer hoping to save money. My car ran worse after installing this sensor, it would not idle for more than a few minutes and fire under every load. I took it off and bought it from the dealer for almost triple the price but it worked. The hassle-free return saves this part just one star.

Pros
  • Manufacturer of original mass air flow sensors, calibrated since they were first used over 30 years ago
Cons
  • Not sure
