Also solid start! Just tap the button now!

Put the whole new accelerator set plus the accelerator coil on my 99 7.4. Worked for about 20 minutes and turned off like turning the key off. After about 15 minutes it started, drove to the workshop, drowned it out. I swapped the coil back, no spark so I swapped this module! It lit up right away!

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Easy to install - see youtube

The module was delivered quickly. Easy to install - look on YouTube. Works well. 1996 Chevy Tahoe, Vortec 5.7, Gasoline, 262,000 miles, occasional absence at 35-65 mph. First I changed the ignition coil - it didn't last for 35-55 mph anymore. Then changed mod ig ctrl. The absence has stopped, but the constant rain/humidity/S. Flor/, which seemed to increase the frequency of accidental disappearances.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't remember, but something happened

great part. good price

fits perfectly on my GMC 1500 4.3 2WD 1997 pickup. for a long time it didn't start right away, as a result, until it wouldn't start. Checked a few things, crankshaft sensor was also defective (250,000km). both micron and crankshaft sensor changed. Everything is working fine! The price here was cheaper than the auto parts store and I have a business contract with the auto parts store.

Installs in 5 minutes

This ignition control module fixed my suburb 96 k1500. After a long drive on a hot day, I turned my device off and it wouldn't turn back on. I ordered this ICM and my trip was fine again. Make sure you use all the lube that comes with it. I would even suggest getting more and using it. Heat kills these control modules, and lubrication helps isolate them.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Didn't work best in ECUs

I don't usually write reviews but in this case for that much money I don't need to buy, at least the ones I have there are other ignition modules for about $20 for Delphi , linked to GM, I figured it would work as an OEM. It checked engine light and didn't run every time, at least the one I have isn't worth the money, maybe I just got a broken one, I wouldn't buy another one!

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Didn't work on my 96 LT4 engine code P1351.

I was on the hunt for engine misfires and decided to replace the ICM (I still used the original OEM ICM). Well after installation the computer immediately gave the code P1351 ICM, voltage too high! My original didn't give out any codes. I replaced Delphi with my original and cleaned up the code and P1351 never came back. Delphi says this ICM is for 1996 LT4 but throws code every time. I even tried another delphi from NAPA auto and same thing. If you have a 1996 LT4 engine and need to replace…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No automatic

Fixed a bug that caused the truck to die after warming up.

Fixed an issue with death after warming up. Obviously the Big Box brand had poor quality control or poor assembly. When your truck starts and runs and then mysteriously shuts down and then starts up again after it cools down, watch this! (If you replace the ICM, also replace the coil). I've been everywhere for a fuel problem but NO! Replaced fuel regulator, fuel pump, fuel filter, spider injectors, distributor. Pressure checked etc. (You'll need new injectors anyway so it's no big deal.) Stick…

Works for a classic 2007 Silverado which Revain doesn't say will fit

Bought for a 2007 Chevy Silverado V6 4.3. Revain does not recognize that it works with Silverado 2007 Classic. But they say it fits the year 2006. Classic 2007 and "normal" 2006 are the same. I checked other websites for compatibility and they all say it will work for Silverado 2007 Classic and 2006. I believe it should work for Silverado 1999-2006 plus 2007 Classic. So I bought it. When I first bought it "used" the ICM didn't work at all. I received a replacement (used in good condition) and…
