Delphi pump works great

Installed this Delphi fuel pump on our 2006 Ford Focus. The old factory pump has driven almost 200,000 km. Installing a new Delphi fuel pump is not difficult. Car started and it works great. The fuel gauge works slightly differently towards the full side. You have to travel a little further than the factory pump to get past the full sideknife needle. Everything else works fine.

Does not actually fit 2006 Ford Focus

Got this for a 2006 Ford Focus. It fits in the fuel tank and works, but the float arm is shorter than the one I pulled out. The transmitter unit itself is also slightly shorter. This is clearly not for the '06 Focus. So, due to the tighter arc of the float arm, the fuel gauge will show full for a long time before it starts to sink, and it will also show empty early on. I took off the stars because it says it fits my make and model, but technically it doesn't. I leave it, but watch the fuel…

Fuel delivery unit inaccurate

I have the same problem as Tyler. The fuel pump works fine, but the transmitter unit gives incorrect information to the fuel gauge. It shows 1/4 tank more than it actually is. For this reason, I ran out of gas at a bad time. Of course, after it is installed and filled with petrol, you cannot return it.
