🚀 Efficient Mobility: DELTA 50-293 Mobile Base for 37-190 Jointer Review

a bit too big for a delta 190, i was expecting it to be just the right size so it doesn't move when i move the tool around my garage.

This is an excellent mobile base. It assembles easily, stays firmly in place when latched, and moves around my garage easily. Pretty much no problem if you want your jointer to be mobile (which I do). No disadvantages.

You can save money with mounting bases, but trust me you'll never regret buying something like this, solid tubular steel welded together and fabricated for your device. Very happy with this and other Delta mobile bases.

The mobile base fits my dresser like it was made for it (it is!). My shop has all the tools except a table saw on mobile stands. It really helps to place the tool you're using in the front and center of your store, and then slide it to the side when you're done.

The OEM stand for my delta planer fits a little sloppy on this mobile base but it doesn't affect performance and a couple of wood shims solves the problem. In general everything is fine and I am very satisfied. Looks like a quality build.

I bought this base to make my Delta 37-190 jointer mobile in my small garage. Pros: The base has a solid construction and is solid enough. well made and easy to assemble. Disadvantages: Two wheels are fixed, which limits freedom of movement in all directions. It is difficult for me to maneuver this machine with my small workshop space. These bases do not come with properly working leveling screws. If your floor is not perfectly level, you can work yourself with a workshop tool that cannot be leveled and there to affect the quality of your work. The repackaged item does not include a fully threaded alignment screw and the manufacturer support spends more time toying with you than helping you. As a result, missing parts, incorrect parts, and broken parts are a buying nightmare. I will never buy a product from this company and…
