Works for me for welding and soldering

Appears to be heat resistant. I've used it with both a butane minitorch and a soldering iron set at 750 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat is not transferred to my fingers.

Item used on welders

This is a great choice for soldering and the price was good but it was clearly used. The tip was black, slightly curved and carelessly filed. Not worth returning so I use it anyway but I was expecting a new item as advertised.

  • Price
Cons
  • Expensive

My New Best for Welders

Soldering is pretty new to me - (gave up on Cricut Explore to buy my soldering kit) and that was just an addendum to the end because I "thought" it would be useful could be. turns out I use it for everything from applying tiny dabs of flux to working things under a flashlight to smearing solder I love this little selection. I also use them for my other crafts like cleaning stamps. multipurpose!

Excellent soldering iron

I mostly solder sterling silver or solid silver. I use this set almost every day. It is very easy to use and the tip allows solder to be placed in very small areas. You can't do without this pick when soldering jewelry! I highly recommend this item.

Pros
  • Has a non-slip grip
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Excellent non-stick soldering pick

I like the color of the stick as a signal to use the pick. This is how I avoid contamination with various metals. It's great to have a choice for each metal. This pick is non-stick, making it easy to position the solder. I'd love to find a pickaxe with some sort of deflector to reduce the heat in my hands, but so far this is the best pickaxe I've tried.

Pros
  • Blue handle

UN-Superior Quality

Unfortunately, this selection does not correspond to the declared "Superior Quality". As soon as I took it out of the box, it seemed to me that the tip was dangling. Of course, it slipped right out of the pen. I checked the description. It does not pretend to be collapsible or collapsible. lol Also, as mentioned in another review, the tip is a lot softer metal than expected and looks like cheap pewter not titanium. I'll find a way to attach the tip to the pen and use it, but. ATTENTION TO THE…
