Denso 234-4603 oxygen sensor

Easy to install. Replaced the oxygen sensor on a Toyota Cameri. I had to use a blowtorch at the base of the old sensor to remove it. Removing the connector from the wiring harness was a bit of a hassle. Replacing the new O2 sensor was easy, just screw in the new sensor and connect the wire to the wiring harness.

  • Impressive

  • Not bad

Economical alternative to the genuine part for Lexus GS300 (2004)

My Lexus GS300 was showing Check Engine Light and VSC. I took it to the store to get the error code. They said that my O2 sensor on compartment 2 is defective. I asked her how much it would cost me to fix the problem, her estimate is $195 plus $95 labor. It seemed quite big so I didn't fix it. I did a google search and came across this product. It fits and works perfectly. The only minor point is that the rubber stopper is not as tight as the original but is close enough in price. I installedโ€ฆ

Perfect replacement for my second generation Lexus GS300 (1998-2005) bench.

Perfect replacement for my second generation Lexus GS300 (1998-2005) Block 2 Sensor 2. In case you are wondering, the sensor does not connect like the other O2 sensors in the engine bay this car. It appears under the passenger carpet and is tucked in next to the center console where the passenger places their feet. To access this area, remove the plastic paneling at the bottom of the door frame, then you can lift the carpet. The cable length and connection was perfect. Helped clear my codeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Find the app on Denso website for accuracy

Great price for this oxygen sensor By the way this is an oxygen sensor not an air fuel ratio sensor. They are different and generate different correction voltages. The AFRS puts out about 0.9 volts DC depending on what it's doing. Depending on the function, the oxygen sensor outputs a square-wave switching voltage. The oxygen sensor and air-fuel ratio sensor work together to control the amount of fuel that the computer allows the injectors to deliver to the engine at a given RPM. That'sโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good quality and price

Bought this O2 sensor for my 2004 Toyota Camry LE 4 cylinder which had the check engine light on and the fault code was PO136 bank 1 sensor 2. This is the O2 sensor that is after the catalytic converter (not the sensor that is on the exhaust manifold pipe that is accessible through the engine bay). To remove the faulty sensor, I had to place my Camry on ramps so I could comfortably crawl under the car to use the 24 inch wrench extension to unscrew the old sensor. I couldn't move the old sensorโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Little things

It doesn't work but after a small device adjustment

Vehicle used on: 2003 Camry LE 4 cylinder. Problem: The check engine light generated P0420, a code related to the efficiency of the catalytic converter system. I did a little research and narrowed it down to a bottom oxygen sensor. After digging FURTHER, I settled on the "No Fouling Spark Plugs" trick (google it). I won't go into detail. Basically, this part will save you over a hundred dollars by ordering here from Revain versus stealing. The wires on this O2 sensor are TOO LONG so I neededโ€ฆ

Bought for Lexus LS400

I had to replace this sensor on my wife's car. I can't remember the bank or part number of the sensor I needed to replace but like my RX300 I went to the Denso website to make sure I had the correct item and then came here to Revain. I saved about $20 by buying it direct from Denso and about $35 by buying it at my local parts store. To replace this sensor on the woman's car, the carpet on the passenger side had to be removed and the cable routed through the floor panel/firewall. ALWAYS use aโ€ฆ
