This air fuel ratio sensor fits my 99 4runner.

Revane said this was the wrong part for my 1999 Toyota 4runner SR5 3.4 liter engine and automatic 4 wheel drive, although other sites said this was the case. It fits perfectly, including the correct electrical installation and cable length. Every month or two the check engine light would come on and say "Lean Bank 1" status, but the code didn't indicate any problems with the air/fuel ratio sensor. So far everything works great. Will update when something changes (i.e. Check Engine Light…

Perfect OEM replacement for my 01 4Runner.

I ordered an OEM replacement for my 01 4Runner 4WD. I received a CEL with a code. Replaced both upstream and downstream as they have 295k and are now throwing the code. You will need a 12mm deep socket with a 3/8 angle head ratchet. You will also need a 10mm socket to remove the port bracket. I fired a few shots from the PB blaster and the nuts came off pretty easily. The connector is a snap connector. But it's not as easy as it might seem. Maybe it was just mine, but after some persuasion it…

This is the top AF sensor, not the bottom O2 sensor.

Worked as advertised on my 1999 4Runner. My check engine light codes 1130 and 1135 have not returned since installing and cleaning. Don't get confused, this is the top AF unit, not the bottom O2 unit. This autofocus unit was much more expensive than other brands sold here, but chose to pay more for the Denso brand since too many people wrote negative reviews of cheaper units saying they didn't work or didn't last long. . Also, before purchasing this new unit, I watched a YouTube video that…

Perfect product - sensors

Arrived very quickly! The product is perfect for my 2001 4WD Toyota 4 Runner SR5. My Check Engine and VSC lights have been cycling on and off with code P1135 for the past 5 months. My mechanic replaced the same sensor about 4 years ago and charged $384 for the sensor and labor. I couldn't believe how easy it was and it only cost me $101 and some of my time. It took me about 15-20 minutes in total and I just took my time. Didn't have to lift my SUV, but it was tight underneath. I would…

Read this if you can't disassemble the electrical connector

Just installed this sensor and it seems to be working. Will upgrade to 5 stars later if it keeps working. Used WD-40 and sprayed all three screws. Two sensor screws (12mm) and one (10mm) terminal screw. I waited 24 hours and all three screws came off easily. The electrical connection was a big problem. It is not possible to disassemble the connector using conventional means such as pliers and a screwdriver to pry open the terminal. The plug was mostly glued. The problem is that there is no…

98% of the time it is a bad air/fuel sensor

Just what I needed and at a lower price than the usual options. Installation took literally 20 minutes, I did it during my lunch break at work. If you have P1135 CEL activated, 98% of the time it will be a bad air/fuel sensor! To make installation a little easier, unplug the connector from the tab. This gives you more space to disconnect the sensor cable. Be sure to use the new gasket that comes with this new part. Also pay attention to which side the seal was mounted on, the seal has two…

Great price decent shipping easy install

My 2001 4Runner VSC and check engine lights came on at about 130,000 miles pulling the code and of course the infamous air/fuel sensor code P1135. Some internet research revealed it was a simple DIY job, requiring 12mm and 10mm wrenches and about 30 minutes of my time. As I have a dual catalytic converter emissions model it required replacing the front sensor which is an air/fuel sensor rather than the less expensive O2 sensor. Apparently, models with a catalytic converter have an O2 sensor at…

This Denso part is an OEM part from Toyota. PROFITABLE OFFER!

I own a 2003 Toyota Tacoma 2WD EXT with an automatic transmission and a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine. The car has 65,000 miles on it. Recently my yellow CHECK ENGINE light came on. I hooked up my OBDII diagnostic reader/scanner that I bought from Revain a few years ago and found code P0135. This indicates a malfunction in the air-fuel sensor (aka the O2 sensor...used interchangeably), the bank 1 sensor 1, and specifically a malfunction in the front air-fuel sensor heater circuit. The Toyota ECU…
